Leading the Philippines toward Organizational Resilience
The Business Continuity Managers Association of the Philippines (BCMAP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2006 and officially registered in 2011.
We promote professional standards in business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management through education, networking, and advocacy.
Our History
Business Continuity Managers Association of the Philippines (BCMAP) was in 2005 by Mel Cabodil and fellow practitioners, recognizing the need for collaboration among BC/DR. They organized forums with support from companies like IBM and Citibank and partnered with organizations like DRII and BCI for.
Registered as a non-profit in 2011, BCMAP has expanded its membership certification programs, aiming to promote best practices in Business Continu and Disaster Recovery across various sectors while ensuring the protection of lives and during crises.

Objectives
BCMAP will spearhead standards development and awareness on the same. The forum will encourage and foster the achievement of the following:

Enable the acquaintance of practitioners of the same interest and profession. 
- 
Maintain high ethical standards of the profession; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each member’s occupation as an opportunity to serve the industry where they belong; 
- 
Promote and influence the development of local standards for the practice of business continuity and disaster recovery management.
